LizzoLizzo joined a prog-rock band where she sang as well as played the flute. Her family had moved to Denver and she was by herself to start her career in Houston. Lizzo was a car owner and sometimes slept on the flooring in her recording studio and showering in the gym. Lizzo lost her father when she was twenty-one years old. The two had been close and it was a terrible loss. Lizzo quit the prog-rock group in 2010, after her father's passing. Following a brief stop in Denver, Lizzo moved to Minneapolis in 2011 upon the request of a friend. Lizzo soon was in the heart of the music scene. She performed with the girl group Chalice and GRRRL PRTY. Her debut album , Lizzobangers, came out through an independent label in the year 2013.
